One of the most annoying things we find when trying to relax, day or night, is the constant barking of dogs from residential properties that surround our community. I realise that we have no control over them but what can be done to stop the same problem occurring within our own resort?
As I understand it the OC cannot ban the ownership of pets of any kind but if the governing body is empowered by the majority to rule that animals are not allowed in communal areas is that enforceable? What can be done if a dog is left outside in an owners own patio area and creats a nuisance by howling all the time? Could a rule be enforced that the animal has to be kept inside the property?
Have to say we don't have the problem at the moment but are keen to prevent it from starting!
