this is a responce to the recent message from the lawyer who posted message,i am not a lawyer and have no great knowledge of the spanish legal system but have been involved with it for about 10 years through a court case against a developer and agent,which we won a civil claim against the agent like many others on the site,as far as i have heard through people on this site and others we  had to pay our fees upfront  and as soon as possible to get the case moving,a bit like the agents were when we purchased it!,as we won a civil claim all the the agent did was get rid of his assets  which apparently is  what most of them seem to be able to get away with,it seems to me your statements are no diffent from all the other institution in  spain,banks,agents builders developers and legal system everybody blaming everybody else, i am very bitter,i recently retired from work and the stress and the  money we have lost plus court case costs and 2 visits to spain with my family have taken its tol on us,just a last word to get of my chest as far as the civil claims go surely all the lawyers involved no what is going to happen with people getting rid of ther assets so there are no funds to pay people back but that does not stop them taking cases on when they no fulwell ther are other people who have won cases against companies and had no recompense so they hav,nt a cat in hells chance

 we are in the same position we have won our case for deposits back plus  interest and court costs but gotardo says he  has no money ? How can he be still trading  and accepting deposits  ? Our lawyer got a detective report that seems to show the money changed into his wifes name  after they divorced . Surely  something can be done . We are waiting constantly for emails to get news  usually they dont reply but we live on a rollercoaster of  maybe this is it ?????????????? then no chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

noticed ourselves the palmera site looks about finished now,only news we heard was about the mirador directors being in court on dec 18th again and again,we are still waiting for the courts judgement from october 1st,our lawyer is going to the courts this week to try and find out what the holdup is; we just wish the whole affair was over and done with so we can get on with our lives

            i totally agree with everything you have said,we have been trying to get our money back through lawyers for 4 years or more after having  deposits on la perla for over seven years ,we are due to make our case in malaga crown court on october 1st and we just hope we get our money back with inter,est after all the grief they have given us this last seven years.i know a lot of  people are in similar situation to ourselves,like raganp has said they have a lot of money in assets to meet our cases  and should face the concequences,im due to retire in 2 years so there i not a cat in hells chance i will give up
