im seriously looking to move to spain and already looking for long term rent a farmhouse , firstly is there any restrictions that i can stay in spain , do i need to register , when i get there , or can i just stay for six months ( im from the uk ) , Secondly i have noticed quite a few peoperties which rent for 11 months , am i right in thinking there are no restrictions on that , like you can only rent for a certain many of months ......sorry if they seem kind of silly questions but new to this .

I wonder if anyone could help me , i am a disabled person with a walking disability , and getting higher rate of dla , and recieve other benefits , i was wondering if any one else has moved to spain with disabilities and if you were allowed to keep your benefits , reason for going is that the warmer weather over there wold be so much better for my condition which is quite rare.....My father would be coming with me but he has raf pension so he would be fine.
Any info or help would be most welcomed , thank you

Hi to everyone im kinda new here and just wanted some advice , i have been working all my life up unitl a year ago , i have for the last 15 years claimed dla at higher rate due to a disability i have , now as im getting older its slowly getting worse and the wether here in the u.k does not help , so i have been thinking of moving to spain , i wonder if any of you could help me at all , or know wether i could still claim either ESA or DLA or none or both , any advice would be gratefull, thank you so much, the dwp website kind of confuses me and everything else i have read is for people in a retirement age.
Thank you in advance .
