Hi all,
My wife and I am planning to move to Spain (Andalucia). We are going to provide road cycling tours there.
We know there are already (a lot of) companies doing this over there, but since we are already in the cycling tourism business and have a lot of cycling contacts we think this will work.
However, I would like to know more about the requirements for providing road cycling tours in Andalucia. In some countries you need a licence to provide this service. With licence I am refering to qualifications you will have to have as a cycling guide to be allowed to lead tours. I would also like to provide mountainbike services, but additional qualification requirements might apply.
We already have a business in Holland and we will keep the company dutch for as long we can. We currently offer road cycling tour cycling in other countries as well, but the difference with Spain will be, we would like to create our homeplace and attract cyclists all year long.
Hopefully somebody can put us in the right direction regarding needed qualifications or licences...
Many thanks
Theo
