Dangerous dogs: You think YOUR dog's not going to attack someone?

There are far too many dog owners saying 'my (dangerous) dog would lick you not bite you'. Many are not even aware their dogs are classed as dangerous. Totally irresponsible!!

Take a look at these accounts complete with photos, mostly of young children whose lives will never be the same, & hang onto your stomach as it's not pretty to see.

Yep, how many times have you heard a dog owner say that? "Don't worry, he doesn't bite!!" Yeah right, try telling that to those poor children on that excellent website you pointed out :

We should be letting everyone know about that page, right now. If it stops just one child getting hurt, then it would be worth it.

It's terrible!
But should be noted, most bites are from "the family dog", this means the owner also a parent, so should know better!
most dogs are not dangerous (breed classification is ridiculous, checkout the stats on how many bites ares done by labs!) ... but any dog can be dangerous, that's why both dog owners and parents alike have to be responsible. Dog owners should supervise and control their dogs, parents should supervise and also teach their childeren about dogs.
