Hi all,
I bought into the Spa Valley dream at the beginning, must be nearly six years ago.
With all the delays and then new builders and then maybe getting a tenant
and various other problems it became a nightmare.
Why did i not walk away, why did i keep throwing money at it.
Anyway i ran out of money.
Back at the beginning when we were quoted a good rental income
I thought even a fraction of what was predicted would be enough, but what is a fraction of nothing.
The bank is in the process of repossessing the property.
I suggested to the bank that even though i am in arrears they should leave it in my hands
for at least another year.
I would pay them €100 per month and any monies generated from rentals would go directly to them.
Maybe we could turn things around, maybe not, but the property would be worth more next year than now.
I am trying to keep it because i believe it is a beautiful place.
As for the surrounding areas with the new airport and the Paramount theme park the future looks positive.
I would appreciate any input or advice and would love to know what you the residents see for the future.
Should i walk away, run away or hold on tight.
Buenos Noches. Pat
