refund (crazy week) in spain.

Our story (inshort) put deposit on property in arenal golf 2005 phase 3 after so many delays pulled out . ELS wanted 1850 euros payed them they then informed us its to late.After years of endless emails i recieved a phone call from a lawyer who  was working for ELS before they went under . he said at no cost to us he will take our case on with other ex ELS clients. If he wins is bill is 10% this was in november11 . In jan12 isent him an email to say my wife and i will be in spain for a week can we meet to discuss refund . when over in spain i checked my emails he said meet friday cajasur bank inbenalmadena monies WILL BE THERE . Met lawyer in bank introduced himself and said he had organised with the bank to pay us GREAT NEWS. He produced two cheques for 21.500e the bank would only pay one i said i will take 1 home HE LOOKED ME IN THE EYES AND SAID JOSEPH I WILL GET YOU ALL YOUR MONIES PLEASE TRUST ME DONT TRUST THE BANKS i said ok he gave the bank manager hell and my wife and i walked out the bank with all the monies Wepaid him 10% and 100e for a drink He filled in all the paperwork for customs so we could take monies home as we have no acc in spain We could not open one because we did not have the required paperwork with us as we did not know we where getting our money .WE need a little help went to our bank and they said we could not open a euro acc with cash only cheque .any solutions   thanks clare  

Hi CLARE WHO IS THIS LAWYER YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT WE HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FOR YEARS TO GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK FROM ARENAL AS WELL WE TO BOUGHT ON PHASE 4 IN 2005 AND CANCELLED AS IT WAS NOT READY ON TIME AND INDEED IS STILL NOT UP TO THE STANDARD WE WERE PROMISED WE RECENTLY WENT TO COURT BUT DID NOT WIN OUR CASE EVEN THOUGH WE ARE IN THE RIGHT AND WE FEEL VERY BADLY LET DOWN  CASAJUR CURRENTLY HAVE 78000 EUROS OF OUR MONEY AND WE ARE GOING TP SPAIN IN MAY MAYBE HE COULD WORK HIS MAGIC FOR US AS WELL ANY CONTACT DETAILS OR E-MAIL ADDRESSES FOR HIM WOULD BE A GREAT HELP
