I keep being sent minutes of entity and community meetings, but i never see on the agenda any talk of 'MARKETING'. Can i please point out to everybody that talking about watering flowerbeds and parking control, etc, etc is all very well, but if owners of property on Corvera Golf want the place to be a thriving resort then the place needs PROFESSIONAL MARKETING !!!! There are literally hundreds of golf residential communities all over Spain, but is there any that has just had a 200 Million Euro New Airport opened less than 5 minutes drive away ? Who is going to tell Estate Agents across Europe that we now have a fantastic investment opportunity here at CG&CC for both residential and commercial property investors ?? We all want every home already built to be sold and looked after, we all want the Golf Course Restored, the ClubHouse Re-opened, the Hotel & Spa we were originally promised Built and Shop Units & Restaurant Units Built, Occupied and Thriving. This will not happen unless we start shouting from the Rooftops, and please i don't want someone's Cousin or Friend in a paid Non-Job, i want an outside Professional Markerting & PR company employed on a short term contract basis (rolling 6 or 12 Months for example) with success targets built in to be tasked with putting Corvera Golf on a par with La Manga. Please no more of this secret squirrel nonsense of websites where you need security vetting just to log in and see your community info. Websites should be outward looking to encourage non owners to Visit not give meeting minutes which we alrwady get by email anyway.

The entity agm is being held on monday 11th March why not turn up and raise your concerns at the correct forum where you may get the answers you are looking for.

I could not agreed more about the need of professional marketing. Corvera 'golf' is already a good place to stay, but has so much more potential for investors and owners. No noises, no problems since the new airport has been opened, and when the banks finally will accept one of the (18?) offers for the golfcourse, it will even be a better place to stay. If so, you do not need rocket science to explain all benefits of this nice urbanisation and the possibility of a healthy ROI for new investors. So, a professional marketeer would be my advice also.

Until such time as we have a new owner of the golf course etc i doubt anyone will want to market the resort on a large scale. Having said that Corvera was pushed at the World Travel Market in London recently due to the new airport and we appear to be seeing a lot more purchases of property. I doubt it will take too long before we will see Corvera take off (pardon the pun). We have waited this long after all.

Hi All, I am pleased this thread is getting some responses, i normally just get personal messages telling me that we should not discuss anything in public, that it should all be hush hush with private forums and whispers. Well we are maybe finally getting to stage where we don't have whisper any more. But please like i said earlier let's not let this job go to someone's brother, cousin or friend like so many do in Spain, i want a proper 'PROFESSIONAL' marketing company to be employed on a proper contract with targets and goals written into the contract. Hopefully we will see Jose Maria Olazabal playing a round of golf on the Corvera Golf course he designed one day soon. GO CORVERA GOLF !!!
