Boundary marking
The Comments |
Can anyone say for certain if it is obligatory for a property boundary to be physically marked and if so how please.
(Ordinary property in an urbanisation near Malaga with no mention of boundaries in the rules.)

If you are on a urbanization then you should go to you're local council office and inquire their ,that is what I did when I built my boundary walls and foot paths and so on , that will also tell you exactly what you can and can't do you will have to submit basic plans and pay a small fee.
If you live on a so called resort or gated community go and speak with you're residents association.

As Windtalker said, speak to your Community Admin. (property in an urbanisation) and maybe check out what your Escritura (title deeds) says.

I only have experience as a RICS building surveyor in the UK.
Here we have a land registry with the boundaries outlined in red from the ordnance survey maps when you request a plan of your own ownership. Surveyors like me interpret these and mark out boundaries for owners.
RICS are a world wide organisation, drop them an e mail or call them in Spain. The website will have a Spanish option, try them for advice.
