Hi

I am an entertainer planning a new life on mainland Spain and would appreciate any advice on areas with bars catering for the tourists.

I am a proffesional scottish country singer playing Wembley Country Music Festival having toured Europe with Johnny Cash, Tammy Wynette, Brenda Lee and many more. I have recently been busy doing a 5 year stint in Tenerife in an Irish bar singing country, irish, 60's, 70's and also some karaoke if and when requested. 

Came back to Scotland for a period and have hated the weather - need the sunshine! ha ha

Anyone with any suggestions or contacts a private message would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for my late response to such an excellent reply. It is so very kind of you and hubby to be as helpful and thank you soooo much for all the effort you went to in finding out the directions to NG Muebles. I have printed off the directions you gave and we will definately take a look up there when we are over next. Its also very good to know of the excellent service a shop provides and the service you got from them seems superb especially for the time of year. I will also pm Gina soon and ask her if she knows of a similar place nearer us as I do like a good wander round the furniture shops.

We are completing on our property soon in Los Alcazares and will be going over to finish off things like shower screens etc...

Could you give me more precise instructions to the huge muebles from Los Alcazares heading up towards Torrevieja end. We are not sure where Quesada is exactly without looking it up. Is the name of the store NG?

Hi  everyone

Thank you all for your continued support and good wishes. Stewart and I are just so pleased with result and now looking forward to completion in a couple of months time. We have been told June/July we are not holding our breath, it could still be later than that, but now we can at least start getting a bit excited again about completing.

Gina, I did also wonder if there could be anyone from development, lawyer or MRI who may read this forum and think that if there was a successful outcome it would mean great publicity for them. Anyhow, all I know is that someone did certainly make a great big boo boo and our lawyer has been able to negotiate and come up trumps. Were they just chancing their hand earlier, hoping that we would be afraid and accept the first offer without protest. Whatever, we will probably never find out.

Rosi n, We do believe the builder was trying it on to get more of our hard earned pennies, like you say there would be some people who would maybe cough up without question - afraid not us! Our next step is to ensure all the correct paperwork is in place for new apartment.
