Welcome to Tylers Blog.

This is my blog of my move to Spain with my owners.

There is so much I want to tell you, but I'm going to start at the beginning.

Well, it all started two and half years ago, January 2006, when my owners first visited Duquesa. They fell in love with the area and thought how nice it would be to live and work there. They had always wanted to move to Spain, and I too got very excited, especially when I saw the photographs of the miles and miles of beaches that I could go walkies on during the winter, and all those wide open spaces that my owners call 'campo' that I could romp around in.

However, they were worried at first because they did not know if they could take me with them, and they said that If I couldn't go, then they wouldn't go.

After much searching on the internet, they found this wonderful place called:

Eye On Spain

Everyone was so helpful and they all said that my owners could take me with them, however there were quite a lot of things to do before I could come out to Spain with them. So my owners spent a lot of time researching for me, so that I would be safe in Spain, and that if we had to come back to the UK, I would also be safe to do so.

They had to get a special passport just for me so that I could travel with them, but first I had to have some extra special injections to make sure I wouldn’t get any nasty diseases, and they had to make sure that my special Micro Chip was working..

There is a lot I have to tell you about what you have to do to get your Pet Passport, and I will tell you all how to get it and WHY your owners will need it, in my next blog post. I will also tell you how you and your owners can travel abroad on Special routes..

Until then,

Woof-Woof

Tyler

Hola (that's "hello" in Spanish) Tyler.

Great 1st post. Beware those signs though on those beaches that say "perros no" or signs like these

While some people do break the law, at their peril, of course, normally dogs are prohibited on beaches.
Urine and excrement, especially with young children on the beach, is obviously undesirable.
Very enjoyable 1st post by the way and Tyler looks lovely!

In Manilva area, dogs ARE allowed on the beach during the WINTER season. Also, as Tylers owners, we clean up after any mess, were ever we walk. In our opinion, human mess & urine left, mainly by children, is far worse and nobody complains about that!

Great 1st post Tyler, look forward to your next instalment.
