I got home last night my flight was due to take off at 6.30pm. Did that happen? No. We had to be bussed to Alicante airport due to fog then go through Alicante airport. We got on the plane at around 9pm. Then enjoyed the long three hour journey home. Got home at around 1.30am. What a trip home. Now I can just look forward to going back at the end of July.

Sunrise hi,

Was the fog at Murcia which caused you to be bussed to Alicante? I was due out on Tuesday 20th but flight cancelled owing to "ash", first available flight I have been able to get is this Thursday 29th, so hopefully!!!

By the way how is your grandad now?

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my blog. The fog was coming in from the sea around the Murcia Airport Area (San Javier). You should be able to get home this Thursday. Safe flight, enjoy your time.
