Suffice to say that we have been battling in the courts for almost 4 years!!! We did win the case and the appeal and the enforcement of the verdict BUT, Pedro / Solvivienda still have not paid back the 160,000 awarded to us. (which was only 10% of what we lost). And now bank rupt and totally in debt and ruined. Thanks to this company.

I have just heard yesterday, that they are trying to disolve the company from my lawyer. so urge you, to sort some advice if they owe you anything.
They had 9 offices across the coast, and I believe an office in Nottingham UK.
Did you know Claudio? Not very nice person either. He was the one who was Pedros right hand man and translater. Lied in court as did all the company personel. Do you have any numbers for them? we have loads but none of them work which is why our lawyers have found out this news. They have attempted to transfer their assets to other companies etc. so do take care to get advice.

Mary and Paul if you put` Solvivienda Oria´in google you will see our notice last year `Land Scam´.This notice was placed all round every office and the village to try to warn others but, I fear we are all so small against these companies who seem to be above the law.

Hello again, I have news from the lawyer that they have changed company names!!! Also, they have shut all their offices and are working under SVI group from the head office address in Almeria city. Avenida Monserrat.
Our lawyer has now issued criminal proceedings, to the court as Pedro Garcia has sold the disputed land into a new company of which he is still an Adminstrator of the new company and as this has been done solely to avoid paying the courts order of money back to us. This now constitutes a criminal act. We can now ask the courts to take any of his personal assets. We are hopefull that JUSTICE will prevail at last soon!
The company is doing all sorts of things please get advice.

I am also buying a property at that development and know of one other purchaser. We too have been told lie after lie. They have assured us that the building work will be finished this year as their building licence expires at the end of the year however they have subsequently told the other purchaser that it will not be ready until March 2009. Have they given you a date? What are they currently telling you? Did you have a lawyer acting for you?

Hello Again Mary and Paul.
We are now in the UK and struggling still. Having lost everything.
I can tell you that I have kept up the contact with Lawyers in Spain for 7 years! Also Pedro has now to answer a CRIMINAL COURT action against him, and his partners. As he sold the land in question to a third party keeping himself as adminstrator! to avoid paying the money awarded by the court to us. So we are still fighting.And are hopeful to get something back.ONE DAY!

Paul has been seriously ill all this year in and out of hospital.
I hope someone makes this man pay for the heart ache and financial ruin he has caused.


Do you know where he lives? Is he still in ORIA? We do know his family do.
