Walking and Cycling Puerto Banus

Our walks in the Sierra Nieves National Park behind Marbella. Cycling from Nueva Andalucia to Puerto Banus or Marbella avoiding THAT road!

Walking and Cycling from Nueva Andalucia
Tuesday, June 17, 2008 @ 2:30 AM

My husband and I have been spending long weekends in Nueva Andalucia for the past 3 years and have in that time discovered the wonderful natural beauty in the mountains behind Marbella.  Will be posting our favourite mountain walks.  Also will post our cycle route from Nueva Andalucia to either Puerto Banus or Marbella avoiding THAT road!  Whilst I'm working on putting up our routes, should you want to ask about or share any walks/cycles would love to hear from you.

Hi Tom

We are leisure cyclists - not those ones you see bombing up steep inclines in brightly coloured Lycra!

Delighted to share cycling/walking routes with you.

Where will you be based and what type walk/cycle would you like to do?

Easy/strenuous and for what duration?

Carla

Hi,

We also spend a lot of time in Nueva Andalucia and often cycle from San Pedro to Marbella. We have tried to find other routes but have struggled and do not seem to be able to get further in either direction as we don't want to cycle on 'That Road'. It would be great to sample some of the routes you have found.

Hi Carla

Just arrived here in Nueva Andalucia for 2 months. At 64, am also a leisure cyclist but a regular one. Would love to hear more about your routes. Also where can I rent a good bike?

Robert
