News from the Mar Menor, Costa Calida

I am glad to be back in Spain it might not be sunny but it is a lot warmer than UK. Costa Calida the warm coast is living up to it's name. Want somewhere to go on Bank Holiday on Tuesday check out www.discovercostacalida.info

I love the countryside the buildings and the unusual sights that we see travelling around the area and will be addiing to the galleries as we take more photos. The area is beautiful and the scenery can change so quickly from flat plains to rugged mountains that look like you are on the moon

 We have seen real boats on traffic islands now here is a replica of a paper boat in the middle of a roundabout.

 saw this in San Pedro over the weekend - the oldest pilot ship in the world it is usually in San Pedro or Cartagena. It is quite a sight and can be seen out sailing sometimes.
