Barcelona and beyond

It's great to join the ranks of all the awesome Spain related blogs here. I was reading some of them until I decided to start up my own. It's pretty much the first time I'm blogging, so bare with me if I don't know all the etiquetes there might be. Anyway, I'm from Spain, Barcelona myself and wanted to share with you what life is like out here with such a multinational group. Being born here I don't mind at all having all kinds of different people, from all over the globe with different ways of life. Once I entered the multinational community myself, my life has been more and more colorful!

I guess this is like the main message I want to give to everyone in this blog. I'll be discussing foreigners in Barcelona, as well as rest of Spain. About their lives here and in their home countries. The differences in lifestyle and pretty much any and everything that's culturally interesting!

And if you are wondering why my English is so good (yes, there are many of us from Spain who speak fluent English), it's because I used to live in South Africa when I was young. Then it was because of my fathers job and I can say it has really contributed to my look on life. I see things in broad ways and always try to be objective. I enjoy nothing more than having a cultural discussion. So it's time I open my mouth, or keyboard and share some of my thoughts. See you soon!
