 I am a season ticket holder at The Emirates Stadium........home of Arsenal Football Club. Today Arsenal were at home to QPR and I took my wife and daughter to the game and the buffet lunch. The eating area is large and quite corporate. You have to remind yourself you are in a football stadium. However it is bright with huge glass windows and plenety of room for every one. The buffet is just superb. A dozen different starters, lots of salads and vegetable choice. For the main course there is something for everyone. Seafood selection......prawns and crab. Cold roast beef and grilled chicken. Deserts are generous and plenty of choice. Hot coffee available together with soft drink selection. Not cheap at 70.00 a head but in my opinion, well worth it.

 Another treat at Londons best dining room. Its a priviledge to sit in this room. We both had chicken soup with dumplings, then zalyia had baked cod and i had boiled salt beef with dumplings. We shared a vanilla ice cream with hot bitter chocollate and ended with coffee. No alcohol as usual and the bill came to a reasonable 70.00. Lots of familiar faces including Helena Bonham-Carter, who is so so pretty and Patrick Stewart who sat next to us and has a great voice. The staff are friendly without being too "in your face" and the atmosphere is exciting and buzzy. The food is consistent and maybe a tad ordinarybut who cares? It remains a treat and a special night out.
