We live in a time of extraordinary change. In a relatively short space of time in the course of human history, the last few generations have experienced an incredible speeding up of most aspects of the collective way of life. While there are many reasons to celebrate, this rapid expansion of technology over spirituality has resulted in a time of unprecedented upheaval, struggle and conflict as humanity deals with the inevitable consequences of its actions. Across the world it seems, there is a slow and gradual realisation that this recent way of living and thinking will ultimately result in a combination of events that will threaten the survival of all species living on earth. It seems that a new way of life is needed and perhaps the answers we are looking for are not too hard to find. We may soon realise that the answers are within us, and the knowledge needed for a sustainable and harmonious future has been with us for many thousands of years.
Throughout the world today, we are able to find any number of examples where the sustainability of life is reaching breaking point and as we can see from the graph above, global population is only set to dramatically increase. From displacement of citizens due to conflict, starvation and natural disasters, to the depletion of fossil fuels, to the decimation of our planets resources, the continual growth of population will only increase the strain and exacerbate the economic and social problems we already cannot cope with. The world as we know it is coming to an end.
Now is the time for a rapid evolution in our understanding of ourselves and each other as we seek a different way ahead in order to create a better future for the generations to come. As it turns out, both the cutting edge of modern science and the wisdom of our earliest ancestors may both be telling us the same paradigm shifting revelations that will light a pathway through the current darkness we collectively find ourselves in.
The scientific revolution, that begun with the works of Nicolaus Copernicus in 1543, saw a period of enlightenment where many new ideas threatened both dogma and theology that until then, was rigidly taught, brutally enforced and practised across western civilisation.

In a short space of time, awareness and perception was dramatically increased. As technology and society has advanced, a continued widening of perspective has increased the knowledge we have of ourselves, but with a cost. Newtonian Physics and the Darwinian theory of ‘survival of the fittest’ have become such fundamental aspects of our collective psyche, that the majority are living an existence where all of us here are the product of random chance. The universe reduced to a soulless clockwork mechanism where each of us fights’s and strives to survive. It could be argued that this has been cleverly manipulated into an unsustainable, materialistic struggle, where a corporation has the same rights as a human being and the cause of much suffering and misery.
The findings of modern scientific theory and the esoteric wisdom of our ancient civilizations tell us a different story. That while the mathematics of Newton and the theory of evolution cannot be denied, perhaps something of more incredible magnificence is responsible. Through the ground breaking work of such luminaries as James Clerk Maxwell, Max Planck, Niels Bohr, and Erwin Schrodinger, the world of quantum mechanics was born and once again, a revolution in science, perception and awareness was underway. In a short space of a few years, cherished ideals about the true nature of reality began to fall away. Through the work of these and others, Physicists began to see the world in the same way as mystics, seers, and the writers of ancient esoteric manuscript. A holographic, interconnected and intelligent dance of frequencies and vibrations of light and energy, where each part is the universe and the universe is in each part.
The implications of the theory and numerous experiments in this and other new fields of science, such as epigenetics and quantum entanglement and new holistic approaches to our way of life on this planet, hold ground breaking information that gives humanity a chance to see itself in a new light. The big bang theory tells us that around 13.3-13.9 billion years ago everything came from nothing. This would suggest that at a fundamental level, all that is, was and ever will be is connected. Throughout all the different periods of history enlightened individuals, mystery schools, philosophers, occultists, and civilizations from the Hopi Indians to the classical Mayans have all speculated and discovered these and similar ideas and theories. Now perhaps, it is time to step forward into a new/old way of thinking for ourselves.

With the advancements made in telescopic lenses we are able to peer deep into the universe and glimpse other galaxies and realms that beforehand few had even imagined. Alongside this, advances made in fractal mathematics and the golden ratio evidence found in both nature and deep space, we are beginning to realise that we are all part of an interconnected system of energy that gives us a whole new understanding of the true nature of reality. Individually, we are a 3-d representation of over 50 trillion different cells, all individual, but all working in harmony together to create us. Through this recent scientific revolution perhaps we can begin to answer the questions that we have always asked ourselves, and step forward together into the light, into a brave new world where we recognise that we are all different reflections of each other, we are all responsible for creating our reality and collectively, we can all learn that with the power and magnitude of the universal energy within, we can heal ourselves and together, create a version of reality that represents the intricate, beautiful and glorious harmony that underlies everything above us, and below.
