I don't believe it..the sun is out

It may seem odd living here in the South of Spain and getting excited when the sun comes out. But we really have had the most awful three months of rain, rain and yet more rain. We've probably had 2 or 3 days of rain at best.

Houses have collapsed, roads have fallen into the river, restaurants and bars suffering...it's not been good.

So today it's great. I haven't got my camera but I can tell you that it's lovely out there and long may it continue!

That's good to see. I'm travelling to Murcia (Mar Menor) tomorrow for a week or so. Let's hope the sun does the same!

Think you meant to say "....had 2 or 3 days of SUN at best"!
I've just been on the phone to friends in Spain having seen photos of heavy snow in Barcelona on the lunchtime news. Here in the west of Scotland we've had the DRIEST winter for decades. Lots of frost after the Christmas and New Year snow but blue skies and SUN and no wind either. Probably had only 3 days of rain in 3 months.
