Life at the Mar Menor Lets Office

Well after the rains of last week the air seems to have cleared a bit and it is not quite so humid but the temperature seems to have soared and is hitting the high 30s every day

There are lots of holiday makers around both English and Spanish and the area is throbbing with activity. However next month the temperatures will start to drop to a much more comfortable heat so if you want a holiday why not come and explore our lovely area and enjoy some sunshine, sangria and sand. Life is still as manic here in the office and we are still wanting properties close to the Mercadona square for both long term holiday rental. We are getting at least two or three enquiries every week and cant help people.

The weather here is gorgeous and it is really hot and they are forcasting a heatwave!!! The only problem is I rarely see the sun on the days I am in the office as we are in an interior shopping precinct and dont get any natural light. It's a real shock when you leave the office to go to the bank!!!

How oh how do I get in contact with owners who do not live in Spain but might be thinking about renting out their properties.

We have now rented out all our two bed properties in Los Alcazares and are turning people away  as we havent got anything to offer them. We desperately need new properties for long term rental if you know someone please please please ask them to contact me and make me a happy person again.

I bet that title got your attention!!! We are still looking for properties to rent out as all the ones we had on our books have now been rented out.

There are many places standing empty but my dilema is how to make contact with people who are not visiting their properties in Spain

If you know someone who has a property in the Los Alcazares area of the Costa Calida and it is standing empty then do tell them to contact us  as we may be able to help

Just when i thought life couldnt getting any busier it has!!   Not helped by the fact my husband has hurt his back so is at home drinking coffee while I man the office single handed!!! 

Today i have had holiday enquiries for next year yes 2011, a couple of owners in, someone wanting to rent out their property come in for a chat, several tenants come in to pay the rent- which is great.  Just need some peace so as Ican pay the owners their income from their properties. Also could do with some properties to rent out as I only have two in the window at the moment!!!!

I just hope hubbies back heals quickly so he can be in the office helping!!!

Where has time gone too?? It is over five months since I blogged and it seems like only yesterday.  This year is flying by and I am sure part of that is due to the fact we have rented out so many properties and  now have a shortage of property to let out and am now turning people away when they come in asking what have we got for long term lets.

This week seems to be the first week that this area seems really busy and it is good to walk out of the office and into the sunshine and see lots of people sitting outside the bars enjoying a drink and the wonderful sunshine, it was 26degress when we came to work this morning at 9am!!  Its going to be another hot day.

Long may the sun continue, and if anyone is reading this and hasnt booked their summer holiday let us know as we do have a few apartments with available dates come and share some of our sunshine

Well if we thought July was busy it was nothing compared to August, we had loads of holiday makers over for their annual dose of sunshine as well as people looking to rent property long term, we let another 4 properties last month!!

The media keep banging on about how many people are staying in UK for their holiday this year, but from the evidence in my inbox which seems full of people enquiring about apartments to rent for a holiday in our beautiful area where they are assured of sun sea sand and sangria and not rain.  the media are definitely WRONG

Are the press scaremongering??? I think I am going to stop watching the news on TV as I am sure most of it is grossly exaggerated.

Lets enjoy life in an area where we have wall to wall sunshine and the opportunity to sit out of an evening till the early hours of the next day chatting and enjoying cheap wine and beer none of which are available in UK
