Time to get the olive wood in for your stove
Saturday, November 2, 2013 @ 6:22 PM
Usually a bit of a drag, trying to get hold of people but my local Cafe (antonios) told me that the two women who run the Drogeria/Parfumeria (just by the open market) have husbands who chop the wood, and deliver it (and help you get it indoors!)
I just got a 45 euro load, a bit more than hald a big trailer, and it was good clean wood, and last night I lit my first fire of the year! And baked a chicken and chorizo dish on the top (I was just born to be a peasant)
So sunbathing during the day, and wood burning stove at night, what could be nicer?
