Leads for agents

I came across a new website today called Leads and Agents. This company sources people with an interest in buying an overseas property (leads) and agents than then bid to buy these leads.

The leads seem rather cheap to me, I wonder if it has anything to do with the quality of them? Do the people know that their details are being auctioned on the site?

I think it's an interesting service as generating leads is very difficult, especially in the current market.

If anyone uses this service I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the leads.

Dear all

I am Director of Leadsandagents.com and i can assure you that all leads on this site do have the permission of the buyers. We qualify ever single lead and ask exactly what they are looking for. At the end of the conversation we then inform them that they will be contacted by an agent who is selling what they are looking for. The lead is ONLY uploaded onto the auction site if they have given their express permission to be contacted and also only if they are a real buyer who is actively looking and not a window shopper.
We only launched the site a few days ago hence why the lead price is quite low at the moment. This would be a fantastic chance to pick up some qualified leads at some pretty cheap prices!

If this system is so great, why are there o leads listed on it? Also, as th blog on the link asks, what about data protection? how do you get the leads in the first place?
