Spain is still the number one choice of destination for British holiday makers, home owners and property investors, with signs of the recession lifting, a new property boom has already begun with buyers eager to take advantage before the property prices in Spain start to increase once again.

Based on the latest figures from Spain's national institute of Statistics (INE), there were a total of 37,079 properties sold in July 2009. Although this is down on last years figures, this still shows the extensive buying that is being done.

You're having a laugh aren't you? A new property boom has started? Not where I am on the costa del sol. It's looking more and more like 1990's Japan, with price falls likely for the next decade.

Are things picking up with the Spanish Property market then ? - What about the Costa Blanca South.. cos there is definitely loads of SE VENDE signs about !
