Man United to make Silva move

Manchester United are reportedly set to follow up their interest in Valencia winger David Silva this week.
The Spanish side are visiting Old Trafford on Wednesday night for a friendly, and club officials are set to meet to discuss Silva. United still have plenty of transfer funds left to spend from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo, and while Sir Alex Ferguson claims that he is done spending this summer, it is believed that he would still like one more signing. Silva has been a target for United and for Liverpool in recent years, as has Valencia striker David Villa, but Ferguson believes he can get his man. The 23-year-old can operate just behind a striker or out on the left-flank, filling two trouble positions for United.
