The Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder is set to complete his move to Internazionale from Real Madrid after claiming the Spanish side treated him "very badly".
The clubs have yet to confirm the deal but the Spanish and Italian media have reported the clubs had agreed a fee of €15m (£13m) with another €3m linked to the player's performance and appearances .
"What happened with me is very strange," said Sneijder. "They [Real Madrid] treated me very badly but to tell the truth I would prefer not to talk about it.
"I am going to a great club, of that I have no doubt. I am very sad to leave but that's the way it is."
Sneijder, who is reported to have agreed a five-year contract with a net annual salary of €4m, claims he is being pushed out of the door by Real, who are trying to trim their squad after a huge spending spree on a number of top players including Kaká, Cristiano Ronaldo and Xabi Alonso.
