Sevilla winger Duda looks set to make his loan spell at Malaga permanent according to the players official website.
The 29-year-old dead ball specialist is set to sign a four-year deal with the Andalusian outfit with an option for another year.
Goal.com Spain reports that Malaga will pay in the region of €300,000 to Sevilla to make the Portuguese stars move to La Rosaleda permanent.
Duda previously had a five-year spell at Los Boquerones which ended in 2006 when Malaga were relegated to the Segunda Division. The winger joined neighbours Sevilla but only featured a total of 28 times for Los Nervionenses before being loaned back to Malaga at the start of last season.
He has been capped eight times by Portugal but a wealth of talent on the wings including Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Simao lead to him being used as an emergency left-back.
Duda could feature in Sunday's opener against Atletico Madrid.
