Much has been written about the Spanish Civil War, but how much do we know about the Duchell of Atholl, the first femal MP in the UK Parliament and her work in Spain? We do know that she was called the Red Duchess who ruined her own political career by supporting the Republic. The book Searchlight is a good propoganda book and sold over 100,000 copies in the first week. She toured Spain looking at the situatin and coming up some very interesting conclusions.
