Get a handset that supports Skype and use the wi-fi connection to make free calls to your contacts, or buy credits for calls to other phones.

I think most, if not all, the mobile providers have a connection charge. We use hits mobile. PAYG 35cents connection and 5.something cents a minute. Would you be able to use a Skype compatible handset as a mobile if there was no free Wifi around?

Hi everyone. I use a company called Localcall Telecom. I have a UK number that my friends and family can call me on for free and I get free landline calls in Spain and UK. Its great because when I travel I don't pay roaming charges I use it in a wi fi area and its free. calls to UK mobiles only cost me 6 cents a minute too. Their number is 644 38 38 90.

I also have my office phones with them and use their free app on my phone. my bills have gone from over 500 a month to less than 85!!
