Community Rules and Washing Lines

Hi All,
Not a pleasant subject but we all need to start paying taxes by the end of this year for the portion of last year that we had possession of our apartments.
Has anyone managed to buy the Form 214 yet and if so where from ? According to various info I've read, you can get them from an Agencia Tributaria ... no idea where the nearest one is but hopefully there's one in Mojacar, or failing that, in Vera.
You need stickers at the same time apparently (to identify your tax submission/envelope etc.).

One of the entries on the form is the Valor Catastral - has anyone with a 1st-floor apartment managed to find out what theirs is ?  They should be the same for all 1st-floor apartments I would think.

Good news is that this is the last (and only) time that we have to pay Wealth Tax as it's being abolished.

TAX BILL 2008

We've just had a calculation of our tax for 2008 sent from our solicitor.  It is based on purchase price although they say that if we have our IBI it might be reduced a bit.  With Wealth Tax gone, we assume this bill is Property Owners Imputed Tax which we thought was based on 1.1% (or is it 2%) x 24%.  However, neither calculation comes to the amount they figure we owe. 

Have others had their assessments through?  How IS it worked out?  Did anyone 'go it alone' last year and present their tax themselves rather than go through a solicitor?  Was it complicated, and if so why?

Dave, the link that you previously posted http://www.propertiescostablanca.org/images/mod214e.pdf  allows for download/print of 214 form.  As for the stickers, I have no idea where the Agencia Tributaria is either.  As for the  Valor Catastral I don't think that we have that assessment yet, but I may be wrong.  If so, I would appreciate anyone with a ground floor apartment letting me know their figure.
