Looks like we are having another sit in over the office today, Sierra Golf's water supply has been cut down because off the water shortage, we are the only site we know that has been cut all the Polaris world sites are ok and balsicas seem to be ok for water.
It's a bit of a joke when you only get a trickle out of the tap not even fast enough flow for hot water.
By the way the TV company you are having troubles with on site have gone bust, Teleast will fix the problem and get you connected for 119 euros.
Happy Days

Latest up-date, we are now being told that there is a problem with a pump, and there is plenty of water they just can't get it to S/G.
We are back over the office @ 5pm to find out the result of said engineers report of the problem and when we can expect some water connection or some one to repair the pump, not forgetting it's Bank Holiday over here on Friday.

Success people power win again, water back on but for how long we don´t know. Why do we have to keep forcing their hand they never do anything without us pressurising them. People expecting an easy ride best think again

After all it wasn't a pump problem, apparently because of the influx of holiday maker's to the area in August they supposed to lower the water pressure to try and save water, but they turn it off.
Oooopps and lost the key.
But we are ok now.
Thanks to many Sierra golfers.
P.S. in should all be in one of the local papers, with a picture of the S/Golfers

hi to all who read this ....firstly can i say the problem was not a masa problem as for all that you have read before this thread this is a account of the day as it unfolded the young lady in the office was only told about the water pressure by a handfull of residents so only believed it to be a isolated thing .it wasnt until as a group we went to the office that she realised it was all sierra golf she did try resolve it with alicante but the person at alicante went of to lunch in the meantime miguel ( senior ) was told of the problem and he called the water company and arranged a metting with a technition and his son miguel this took place at around 3 ish in the afternoon between them they found a valve had been closed at sucina and at around 4:30 ish opened the valve fully to let water flow to the tank that supplyies sierra golf .miguel the came to the office to try explain what had happened but unfortunatley by this time some people was very emotional and arguements broke out .at this point i found myself in a uncomfortuble position and tried to make people see a bit of sence and let miguel continue to resolve the situation.i spoke to miguel and told him that most people did not trust him and it would be a advantage if he could take someone with him to check if he had infact cured the problem he asked me if i would go with him and i said ok.now to be quite honest with all at sierra golf the problem was not a masa problem and miguel did solve it before he came to the office and to all who have bought on sierra golf let me say it is a verynice place to live and as you should expect with a new urbanisation they will be quite a few problems but with a bit of comonsence and goodwill we will have a happy and friendly urbanisation so please dont let this one hickup put you off but again i must stress it was miguel ( masa ) that actually solved this problem .ps im on m14 number 40 if anyone would like to ask i will be pleased to give a more detailed account ..........................densue

We have just got home and back to the grind stone, do we regret buying on SG: We signed in January and yes there were very few people on site and our first impression was gloom and doom until we met those few people:
We do not regret any of it and have already been out in April made loads of new friends and again in August meeting our neighbours who like us are non resident and all the people are great.
My house is my home.
It has to be remembered we are in at the begining of something new, it will be worth so much in the end and i don't just mean money.
Please think seriously if you want to pull out, you may regret that decision because of a few hiccups.
Thanks to everyone for the big SG welcome.
Cannot wait and hope we can get out in October.

Hi all,
I have to agree with everybody on this thread reguarding buying and living on SG, we bought back in dec 2007 and have never looked back as Dentish says "it's our home" and looking forward to moving to SG as soon as my time is finished here in Poland (sorry England) slip of the old key board.
To anybody getting close to completion go ahead and do it cause you know it makes sense there are some lovely people on site and a lot of knowledge and skills, as for the lack of shops, pools etc I'm sure in time they will all be there.

Hi Ray,
Yes you are right it is from Southern Ireland and very good it is too!! its what all somersetians are drinking at the moment because bulmers is s..t! and farm brewed scrumpy is hard to get as many farmers have given up due to the tax placed on it by the government.
Somerset is cider country............ for drinkers not brewers.
plus I could'nt find any pics of bulmers!!! at the time.
