We have 2 apts one on block 1 over looking the green pool also blue when open (just about 3 weeks this year) also 1 in block 3.(this is to holiday let)
We have aready made our opinions known to the administrators about having this pool open all year, they say the extra chemicals to keep the pool clean in the winter is too expensive (poppycock). it still should be cleaned filtered and chemid all year, We think the main reason as already said by them and other sites is that the spanish do not use or like pools so do not want to pay for them.
We have suggested that they provide costs for keeping the pool open (if only the small pool) for say 4-8 &12 months & give us the oportunity of deciding if we who want to have the pool open pay additional to have this facility and to then provide us with key's for the gates and a card so that only the owners who want to pay the extra during the winter months can be the only ones to use it, the usage can then be monitored by the on site secuity or the owners on site at this time, if you do not have a card/pass you do not use the pool.
please pass comment on this if you think this could work. and let other know so they can also make their views known to the administrators.
