Resort Membership

I managed to visit the site last week and spoke to the Med Group sales rep while I was there.  She stated that the 10 year free golf membership that I thought was included in the sale has now been withdrawn.   Instead it will cost 1000 euro per year per apartment, this will gain you 4 memberships that will entitle each member a 40% discount on green fees.  It sounded like these were transferable to whoever was stopping in the apartment at the time.    I think she also mentioned some sort of discount at the hotel spa but was more vague on the other sports facilities.  

Work on the complex was continuing at pace.  The golf course was taking shape, the grass getting greener and the man made lakes getting filled with water.  There looked to be over 50 workmen on site when I was there.  I have taken lots of photos that I will upload when I get the chance.

Apparently 90% of phase 1 has now been sold and I came away from the visit convinced I had made a good investment.

I bought 1 Altos in Paya Macenas and did it all by e mail, I'm from Spain but it's been years since I visited the Mojacar area. Anyway I'm very excited about the property, very unique, near the Mojacar village which is beatifull and has his own "soul", on the other direction we have the natural protected parck of Nijar Cabo de Gata with all the wild nature, we can't be wrong it real seems is going to be a very special place. The last news I have is that the Altos are starting defintly in January 2.007.
