Broadband in Spain

Hi everybody

Have just been exploring the options for getting broadband in my apartment on Playa Golf.  

Have come across a website called www.broadbandspain.com   It would seem that this company offers wifi broadband which would mean that you don't need a telephone line as well - most of us use our mobile phones for phone calls these days anyway, so having a stand alone broadband package would make a lot of sense for some people, i think. 

Apparently you need 30 people in your area to request the broadband before they will install it.  That does't seem like a massive target as it would be a great thing to have a) for people living out there and b) to offer to guests.

Anyone got any comments on the company or their offer.  Anyone got any better ideas on how to get broadband installed?  Anyone fancy logging on and adding their name to the list of people in the area who would be interested in getting broadband for their property?

Hi Nikki - it would probably be a good idea to ask about this in the general forum as well, as there has been a lot of discussion about broadband.  I went with Telefonica myself.

Lovely to meet up with you last week and so glad you like the website.  Yes, I will log into main forum for my broadband question - good idea.  I see that Justin has been busy and set up an eye on worldwide website now which covers the world, not just spain - very clever except that i am havign trouble logging in
