Hi,
I have also been on the blower to the builders today regarding block 2 ,they told me it will be completed in Feb, i also asked for confirmation regarding the corridors, apparently you can walk from block 1 right the way through to block 5 ,which i find hard to believe. I get the impression they dont know a great deal in the office ,as every time i phone i get a different tale. Also they have told me there is only one pool for all 5 blocks, which sounds a bit crazy as it only looks about 15 ft long!

I find the concept of walking through the corridors of all 5 blocks surprising and a little alarming, especially so because seemingly, block 1 floors are lower (slightly) than the floors of the other blocks and if you look closely, it is not actually joined. I guess there could be a step, but what is the point? Also surely this would reduce security as once an intruder were in, they would have acess to all blocks and many additional fire doors would be required.
Also, I suspect there is only the one tiny pool as I have seen no other (there could be another on the end of block 5 I guess). The illustration shown to me was a much larger pool without the huge building at the end, which I take to be a pump house.
Do I get the impression that this builder makes it up as he goes along? I will certainly be checking my room sizes very carefully!

Hi
I have been inside blocks 3 and 4 several times and you cannot walk through from one block to the next if you look on the plans of your block you will find that the end apartments are corner plots which take up the ends of the corridor, that is why the corner plots have slightly bigger bathrooms. The only way you can walk from one to the next is on the roof, and then only from block 3 to 5 which share the roof pool. The roof pool is about 9 x 4 meter or 30 x13 ft which for a roof pool is not bad. I have been told that blocks 1 and 2 will be sharing the pool on the ground with the block of bungalows.

hi , we are buying on block 2, when we looked to purchase the property we were told and shown plans of the complex, we were told/shown plans by spanish property centre in rainford that we would be sharing the rooftop pool, and that you could access it from the top of block 2,. there seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the whole 5 blocks, we went out in august and we stayed in one of the bungalows, we got chatting to the bloke who owns the property next to block one , he told me that the pool was for bungalow residents only. we have been in touch with the spanish property centre they keep telling us " not to worry everythings ok ", dez was the guy who showed us around the site , he also told us that we would be sharing rooftop pool, if i have anymore information regarding this issue i will post on this site, if we all gather information from each other , maybe we can resolve all the doubts and issues surrounding the apartment blocks.
regards dave/julie

Hi
As a spanish property guide buyer i received written confirmation regarding the pool useage on the 04/05/06 which i understand was a standard letter to all of there mar y sol clients, which stated blocks 1 &2 will use the pool on the ground, blocks 3,4,5, will use the pool on the roof of block 4. I then spoke to jason croft at the developers office and he confirmed the same, sadly jason as now left palacios mar and is working for grupo domingo, and it is now harder to find out what is going on over there. I think that the confusion with the pools etc came when the developer decided to change his plans and build more apartments and less bungalows .
