Moving in to an apartment in a few weeks.

My family and I are moving into an apartment in La Resina golf and I was wondering if anybody knew if the apartments had been connected into the telephone exchange and if ADSL is available.

I have worked for a developer in La Resina Golf and the urbanisation where I worked has got telephone lines connected and some of the owners have had internet connected as well. I do not think you will have any problem getting connected.

We've been in now for about 3 weeks and so far we still have no phone or ADSL. Telefonica did try to hook up the line but for some reason it could not be done. I was told that someone would call me in the next day or two but i'm still waiting. I have also had conflicting news as to the adsl service I can expect. What i need is a telephone number of someone else in the appartments or somewhere close so I can check the speed etc. I've checked using the country club telephone number and that states that they can have 3mb. If anyone has a line installed could you PM me the number, it would help.

Ok. this is what i have dicovered over the last 2 months and my quest to get a phone and internet installed into this new development.

Telefonica will not install a line. 4 times they have been and 4 times i was told the same thing. It is not posible to connect the line. I will put this as a warning. if anyone is planning to rent long term in this development, wait... wait until there is more appartments occupided then maybe you can do a group booking and force telefonica to fix the fault they will do nothing about for a single request. It's the only way...!!!!

Also watch the garage entrance into block 1... it will remove your exhaust.
