Hello anyone who might be able to help.

Our abogado was too busy to discover if the developers had bank guarantees in place when I first put down a deposit in 2005.

I found out at a meeting in 2008!

The developers apparently haven't obtained bank guarantees and I stand to lose my deposit of 25%

Has anyone any idea as to what to do next?

The developers have now been declared bankrupt.

Well I've heard nothing.

My UK based solicitors have told me we will be contacted by the Administrator, but I havn't. We are supposed to register that we are Creditors with the Court.

My solicitors told me in 2005 that Bank Guarantees were in place, but not to trust them, as he could not get sight of the original documents.

I think we will have to face facts that we have lost our deposits.

I READ THAT A LOT OF YOU HAVE SOLICITERS, MY EXPERIENCE  WITH THEM ISN'T VERY GOOD (ONE TOLD MY HUSBAND AND I, THAT SHE DIDN'T LOOSE, BUT THE CLIENT DID.  THAT ADDS THEM UP)
