Hi
A fellow poster has reccommended this company and their prices seem great. Before I go ahead and book, has anyone had any experiences with them...good or bad?
Thanks

Hi Phil,
We used them last time we were out in November. No problems whatsoever. As good a price as anywhere -new car and option to re-fill the tank on return if required.
Regards,

Hi Phil & Debbie,
I used doyouspain last time we were out and have booked again for next week.
They are an agent, so I guess it really depends on which hire company you end up with as to now things to. We had agura crown, which we can recommend, had a new car and pickup/drop off was quick and easy. Just walked in and dropped key on counter, < 2 mins. Booking through DYS was cheaper than going to AC directly. Just booked a berlingo for two weeks @ 110E, which I thought was OK.
One thing to watch is that they charge for a full tank of full ( at high rates, so around 50e ) , so if your not doing many miles its a bit steep. Assuming your like us and staying at CdA and doing afew trips to IKEA then you will use use a tank full.
Phil

I can't recommend doyouspain highly enough. We have used them for at least 10 trips now, usually get a car from Auriga Crown or Solmar.
One good thing about them is that you pay nothing until you collect the car so if your plans change, there is no hassle with getting money back.
Also, I booked in November 2007 for 2 trips in April & August 2008 then in January 2008 they had a sale on where the cost would have been about 60 euros cheaper. I emailed them & suggested that they might like to reissue the confirmation at the lower prices & they did without any argument.
Really good prices as well.

Hi Dan
I wouldn't be suprised, even though its a new one on me. Each time I go there is a new reason for that extra premium. I must say last time was the first time I decided not to pay the extra 22 euros for windows and tyres!

Hi Dan,
I don't think they do - but if you put in your arrival time in the collection box, so would hope it highlights any out of hours. Their website states "The cost of Night Time deliveries depends on the location. In most cases they are Free but some have a small charge. If you are planning to pick up the car at night, please check the conditions when asking for a Quick Quote on our website"
Haven't used them yet, but am doing so in a couple of weeks as their prices seem well below others.

I am trying to book a car with a collection time of 9pm and it just says the office closes at 7.30pm and to select another time.
It's not even mentioning a premium it just seems to be a straight NO.
Any1 any ideas why?

I am arriving at Murcia at 8.55pm.
The airport is obviously open but apparently the car rental desk closes at 7.30pm, that seems quite early, as flights obviously arrive later than this and all the other car hire companies don't say anything about being closed.

Hi we and our neibour ( they have an apartment on Hacienda) always use ulricka crown.( I think thats how you spell ii)
you will find them on doyouspain, not too sure of their opening times. but office is in the airport.
always very friendly staff.
We arrived in Murcia at 9.45 pm on our last trip out & they were mid to end of january & they were open with no sign of them closing. infact of the number of carhire desks open in the airport U.? crown was the busiest.

Thanks, I have booked now through another comparison site. Travel supermarket or auto europe, can't remember which (yeah I no, and I only done it 10 mins ago!)
Anyway got good price of £47 for 5dr fiesta for 1 week, so prices still quite low at this time of year.
I always search for the cheapest deals, but I always find the cheapest one has the longest queue when you go to collect! I am wondering how cost effective it really is to save £4 and queue for extra 45 minutes!
lol
