Oven information

Hi everyone,

We are going to buy saucepans, etc in the UK and bring out but apparently some are only suited to certain types of hobs. Can someone tell me what type it is. Obviously it's not gas, it's electric but is it the ceramic hob type or something else.

Hi Phil and Debbie,

I  think everyone gets the same hob and oven. If this is the case it is a ceramic hob.

It's a good idea to take a pan set from home if you can carry it. We bought ours in Spain, and although they are OK, they don't have long handles on the pans like we have a home. Instead they have a small handle on each side making it impossible to drain veg etc. Therefore a collander if required to help stop scalding.

We are in the Jardines and assuming all the hobs are the same and our hob is Hallogen (not sure of spelling) hope this helps
