Hi everyone,
I'm going out on 2nd Feb to set up the furniture in my 3 bed apartment on Los Naranjos (Jardin 7). I plan to fit lights while I'm over, but stupdly forget to check the number of fittings required for each room.
Is there anyone with a 3 bed apartment that could tell me how many lights I need in each room (how many wres did Polaris leave hanging down?) and if I should be buying spotlights or lights with shades?
Thanks, sorry if this has been discussed, but I couldn't work out how to search.
Andy

Mine has-
Lounge x2
Kitchen x1
Hall x1
Bathroom x2
Front bedroom (smallest) x1
Master Bedroom x2
2nd Bedroom (rear) x2
External x4 – mine has 2 at front and 2 at rear but some only have 1 at rear.
So in total you will need 11 internal & 3 or 4 external, I went for recessed lights but on most of them I used double or triple ones, I have uploaded a picture in the photos section under Condado.
Regards
Dan

If you go to www.ilucom.com look down the left side you will see installation examples, then click on illuminating your home, then click condado, then click on the apartments plans it shows pictures of the lights in all the rooms and their positions.

Andy,
In our 3 bed on Jardine 12 there are 2 lights in the living area, and 2 in both the master bedroom and second bedroom. there is one light in the third bedroom one in the hallway to the bedrooms and one in the kitchen. The bathroom has a main light in the middle and another over the sink. The main terrace has two lights and the back terrace one. We have fitted spotlights on everything inside and they look good, but it is only personal preference, you can fit whatever suits you. I hope this helps you .

Thanks everyone, I really didn't expect to get such quick answers!
skinnymags, thanks for the link....very helpful and I can at least picture what I want now.
One last question. I take it there isn't a problem if I bring recess lights over from the UK?
Thanks again.

Its worth also thinking about what wattage the lights are, if you are going to use recessed down lights with halogen lamps, each bulb can be 50 watts, worth considering especially with all the talk of only having 25 amp breakers to supply the whole apartment. Use energy saving bulbs. Cheers Andy
