has anyone been over to roda recently and visited the site?

or has anyone been to see the showhome?

maybe we could use this thread for posting personal visits.

my brother is going over in october and im hoping for some pics.

i plan to go before the end of the year and hopefully get an inspection visit or at least see showhouse for ideas.

I went last month and have uploaded photos of  P1 and the beach club area. I also visited the showhome and the view from the golf course is from here.

We were also over last month visiting Roda and had a look round the show house which is beautiful as any show house would be. We were very excited on the approach into Roda as the golf course is looking fabulous but were soon disappointed on entry at how far behind schedule they seem to be. We have posted photographs of phase one apartments which seem to still require a fair amount of work done considering they are meant to be complete by now. We have also posted photos of phase two apartments which you can clearly see is in mid progress but I suppose coming along nicely. Question is will they be finished in December? I have also just received an e-mail today from our lawyer saying that the apartments are on time and we should be enjoying them by christmas - who knows!!!!!!

We have purchased off plan an Alhambra type A apartment (first floor) from phase 3. We plan a visit in March,07 to have a look at the progress. Will anyone have the same type of apt. ready and furnished from a previous phase by then? (preferably with the De Vere/Roda furniture package). If so we would be interested in renting for one week, please make yourselves known on the message board.

We are looking for a 70% mortgage offer, any suggestions? Also has anyone taken over the builders mortgage?

I'm on Phase 1 with a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment.  This should be ready next month (should have been ready in August - another story).  I will be renting the apartment out from January 2007 so if anyone is interested in renting our property please contact me through my website at www.rodagolfrental.com  I will not be purchasing the DeVere package but all furnishings will be similar and to a high standard.

hey mandi.

good idea renting out to other buyers. thats the ideal way to make an inspection visit - actually staying inside roda - as it will give a good idea how the place is running.

we have bought a 2 bed pent on phase 2 and will be looking to come over around jan to inspect so may take up your offer.

how did you work out letting fees by the way? i would imagine de vere will try and set a standard fee?

If anyone wants mortgage advice i'm using a company called Vida Investments in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.  I have found them to be very professional and prompt.  They are just opening a premises near Roda to deal with mortgages.

I have worked out my prices based on the Mar Menor Golf Resort, La Torre and Nueva Ribera.  Hopefully I have got it about right - time will tell.  I hope and believe that the prices will rise once there are more facilities on site.

We got a completion date of nov from our solicitor.

i think your right mandi that rental prices will rise once the site is completed.

it will be a couple of years till we realise full potential.

we have also built a website at http://www.roda.250x.com/ which will be rolled out once flat is ready.

I have a  Alhambra 2 bed  top floor corner apartment in phase 1,  we should have completed weeks ago,  but hope to complete  soon ??   We will furnish  using the De Vere package  and   be ready to rent out ASAP.   However when De Vere and Roda rentals get up and running we will turn the apartment over to them,  presumably  that is some way off .  

Anybody interested  will have to go the  private contact  email route.
