Snagging

I have a question about completion and snagging - What is the procedure - do you or did you snag before completion and if you did was the work done before you completed and did you have any problems getting it done. Was anything about it written into your contract?

We agreed the snagging list pre completion and the list was worked through post completion.

We had no problem re the list being cleared although this was back in August of last year.

Sorry haven't had access to internet for a few days. Thank you for your reply.  Did you have much that needed doing and was it difficult to get them to do it?  Looking at other posts it says they were due to start landscaping in time for easter but have heard that they haven't done anything at all yet.  Very disappointing.

I and many others had lots that needed doing.  Very important that you visit your property pre completion to do the snagging or appoint someone to do it for you. I know many have used a chap called Dean Swann to do their snagging and generally look after their property. He is an ex policeman who now runs a property business in Mojacar area (cleaning, airport runs etc).

They were fine in correcting the defects.

Shame about the landscaping - tough market for developers I guess.
