Hi Mark & Andrea.
The diving is quite good and there are a few dive centres.
We dived in a few spots and intend to do a lot more,
La Manga strip has a decent dive centre. The diving is ok there too, some very easy dives and a few deep wrecks, theres a couple of caves I would like to explore too.
Cartahena (spelling?) has a naval base that you can dive. It was very good, there is a submerged Harrier jump jet that sits at about 18mtrs, theres also a large tug and a suken container full of hair straightners!! (sorry ladies, all rusty) all three can be dived at the one time.
Theres a really nice Spanish guy living on Sierra Golf called Antonio, he drives the black pick-up with the "U-Boat" sign on it.. Antonio is an experienced dive guide who knows the best spots, give him a shout and he will arrange your dives, Antonio arranged and went on the harrier dive with me. Real nice guy.
I'm not over until July but a few diving friends are coming and we should have a team of about five or six divers, your welcome to join us if your out at that time.
Have fun next week, contact Antonio, I'm sure there are others on site that know him if you cant locate him.
