Just a quick update form a client who has purchased on phase 1 with a completion date of April 2009
I have been advised the buyer to check their bank guarantee and eventually he discovered that he didn't have one and chased his lawyer and the developer.
I found their response amazing that if he wanted one a condition was that he would have to sign a revised contract agreeing an extended contact date of April 2010 which means it could run 18 months over the original agreed date
The fact remains that he is entitled to a BG under Spanish Law and to get some independent advice o this tactic which amounts to blackmail
If you visitbthe site there is still a distinct lack of construction activity
Again I would urge amy buyers to check if they have a valid in date BG
