It’s only taken 17 years!
It was a strange decision for someone like me to start writing. I had struggled at school, I couldn’t even read when I went to junior school and no one had noticed!
Now I read a lot but my spelling and gramma are shocking, as you may have already noticed, from my blogs.
So why did I want to write?
I had never thought about writing until my mum died, she had told me she was writing a book, so off I went in search of it. My plan was to finish what she had started. Turns out it’s very difficult to finish a book that only consists of one line!
I haven’t written Mum’s story (yet!), but I have not stopped writing since. Life just goes better for me when I am writing, even if that’s just my journal which I write in every day.
I have blogged, I have had pages published in collaborative books, I have written a number of different manuscripts which may or may not ever see the light of day.
But here I am seventeen years after I started writing, a published author.
Back then I would never have imagined that I would have a publishing contract with a wonderful publishing house who have really gone the extra mile to help me create my very first book.
It was suggested to me many years ago that I should write a spiritual book, I thought my friend was mad, yet here I am. I am sure that my dear friend Val has been helping it all come to pass from the other side of the rainbow bridge.
When I first stepped onto the writing path, I was not doing the spiritual work I do now. I was space clearing as a hobby and now its a major part of my business.
Space clearing is the removal of negative energy and/or entities from a property. Think of a property as a piece of clay, the largest hand makes the largest mark. Energetically we and any incident that happens in a building leaves a mark, this is why some times you feel really uncomfortable when you enter a building and some times you feel right at home. You are picking up the energy.
Now, as someone who has always been able to see and communicate with the spirit world, I get a lot from the history of the properties, which is very interesting.
‘Echoes Within Walls’ shares these experiences with the reader.
It is my hope that it will be enjoyable and informative for all my readers, showing them a glimpse into a hidden world, a step back in time.
My book also gives the reader the basic tools to space clear their own homes. It is my belief that every property needs space clearing, especially at this time. It is a chance for us to remove negativity and create a more positive world.
