Our apartment (Block 6) is one of at least 7 apartments which have had problems with flooding.  We are talking serious problems.  I don't yet know the extent of ours yet, and am resisting the urge to jump on a plane, but it is so bad that our paying guests were unable to get through the front door and felt that they shouldn't turn on the electricity!

During the summer, I helped some residents in Block 1 translate a workman's comments when they were flooded.  Their's was so bad it was uninhabitable, with plaster falling off the walls and all the soft furnishings, sofas and beds damp.  The workman told me that a rogue plumber had been working on some blocks.  So far I know of apartments affected by a leaking valve under the floor leading to the bath in Blocks 1 and 7.  If ours is the same, then we know Block 6 is affected too.  It may be coming from the apartment above (we are on the first floor) but I am resisting the urge to jump on a plane until I have actually spoken to Keymare.

Anyone else been affected?  Any advice?  How did it work out for you?

W
