WANTED TO RENT

We went for the first floor on phase 1. We are going through Parador, and they are causing a few problems. The builders seem great though.

Hi, we have bought here, block 3, floor 3. Bought through Ambasun. We have had a note showing good building progress. Hope to go out in February for a look. Would be good to hear any progress from others.

My sister visited last week, and consturction is pretty much complete. Our apartment is actually almost totally finished. The pools done (massive!), she saw the parking and all looks great. I have seem a bit of video she took, and indeed looks great. I plan to visit in a couple of months, but December all will complete. The landscapers are in very soon, so will really start looking nice then. All the technology - lifts, intercoms etc are apparently very high quality, so it looks like they are not scrimping on anything.

There are about 50 apartments left now, and the sales guys (floris etc) are happy with how they are selling. They reckon there will be a sales office open until towards the end of next year to sell the ones remaining.

Anyone else been recently? Getting very excited now!

Great to hear construction is on target and that everything is looking good. We have been told verbally that the builder expects to start exchanging contracts in October. Just waiting to hear formally from our Solicitor. We have started looking at furniture packages. Has anyone had any dealings with any especially one we are looking at - Homes &  Beyond based in Garrucha?

We have had a message from Ambasun and our Solicitor to say that we should hear about a signing date in December.

Do you mean they are suggesting a completion date IN december, or you will know the completion date in december? Does that make sense?!?

We are hoping to find out this month (November) that we will receive a completion date for one day in December. Fingers crossed. If anyone finds out any different - let us know.

We have recently received a letter from Hogarsur the builder of terrazasdelgolf informing us that they are awaiting the License for 1st occupancy and as soon as they receive this document they will begin to make appointments at the notary's office for the signing of the title deeds. Has everybody also received this letter.

We finally got a letter from the builder (in Spanish) saying basically they are waiting for licences etc.

When we were out in Nov, they were suggesting completions would start Jan/Feb.

Let us know how things are Jan 11th. In Nov pretty much all was complete, except the landscaping and finishing touches.

Just wish we could get some completion dates so we can start planning our visits for the year and get rid of the post Xmas blues!

Just got  back, viewed site and our apartment, builders still finishing off, sales rep. says should all be ready including paperwork, by end feb.

All looking good, communal area bigger than we expected and  didnt realise there is a communal room for whatever use we wish to put it.

Went over to also obtain NIEs which was also problematic, Parador were not overly helpful

Yes, that communal room was something we didnt know about either. Its quite big too, and apparently could be split into two if needed. Guess its up to the community what goes in there, but a bar might be nice, or maybe a gym?

Starting to get annoyed with all the waiting now though. Just want to get sorted, and some firm dates so we can finish off our plans.
