Over the last 9 months quite a lot of the villas have been completed with each of the 3 sub contractor builders working on 2 villas at a time
And any building site is a mess for most of the time !
All the plots at El Saltador have been segregated [ which means seperately registered] but the licence of first occupation will not be granted by the local council until the roads etc are substantially complete
That I suspect will depend upon the rate of build but some of the buyers have asked Parra Mellado to delay their build because they have been unable to sell their UK property which they have agreed........whilst there are and have been problems ,PM are not all bad!
But this may mean a delay in finishing the roads
However. all the residents I have spoken to are happy with their villas and of course the location is great
As the plots are segregated and I am told that some of those living there or with finished villas are intending to get the deeds for the plot and hold back 20% or so pending the LFO
Now this needs good legal advice and there is a risk attached to this which buyers must take their own view
Almost all builders worldwide have had cash flow problems over the last 12 months including many of our big UK builders yet this site has progressed enormously during this difficult period, so whilst not privy to the financial status of PM , they must have the funds to do this
And there is no sign that they are stopping at the moment
