What a great idea for a website. It's kind of a releaf to know 'you are not alone' in investing in Peraleja, first time overseas & off-plan as well!
We decided on the Romera terraced villa, and managed to 'tweak' the design to one bathroom & one shower room. The plan is to convert the 'laundry room' into a third bedroom & wondered if anyone else is considering this?
The purchase has been managed by Imagine Murcia & they've been pretty good at keeping us up to date. No news on the hotel though, but a second price rise of 5% - 10% is planned for next month. Nice to hear, but as already highlighted, not sure the market will support a 20% price increase in the first year?
Phase 1 is '70% sold', and we are led to believe on schedule for the Dec completion. Some villas may be available earlier, but access apparently will depend on the infra structure etc.
The only other tip we have benefitted from is to use a company like Currencies Direct for Euro transactions - better exchange rates than the banks, and no charges.
