signing off

 not that i will be missed, but i do believe it is time to sign off EOS, i found this website a couple of year ago and found it very informative and entertaining, and also met a lot of new friends on condado through it.

i have also had a good bit of banter and a few arguments and thoroughly enjoyed it, however i do believe this type of forum has ran its course,(for me anyway), due to the 100% negativity surrounding condado, every time you log on there it is negative comments, now please dont patronize me and say this is what forums are all about, there are other forums which dont portray this type of 100% negativity,

i dont know if anyone feels the same but when i log on / come off i feel totally depressed after reading all the bullsh!t,

if like me, you bought the dream, then this is not what you want to hear surely,

there is enough trouble and grief about, that we dont need to to make it worse, anyway enough said,

i will however say goodbye to all i have met through EOS, and hope to meet you all in the clover again soon,(bloody expensive place), the restaurant (horrible table cloths) or the golf course(bloody greens too quick).

I agree, this site used to provide good information but now all it is is bitching about stuff we cannot influence so contributors get more and more frustrated.

Please can we get back to asking serious information that hasnt been asked before (please look at previous posts) or providing information that is relevent to the post and only contributing positive information  to progress the post.

This is a personal request I dont expect any comment and if you disagree just ignore it

I have to admit that I have  had a moan on a few occasions

But to be honest I can  say with hand on heart that neither Ham or I have ever regreted buying on Condado

Part of the reason we chose Condado over other sites was because we didnt want to be just one of the many Brits

We wantedto embrace the Spanish way of life & to make friends with Spanish neinbours, which we have done.

Cos lets be honest the " brits "do not have a very good reputation abroad

We have never & will never regret buying into the dream

I am sure that Polaris was as devistated by the financial crisis that hasaffected everyone 

but it seams as if many blame them

Like you I chose not to contribute to eos for a while last year for the very same reasons as your selves.

But came back a few weeks ago

You are always full of friendly wisdom & banter. don't let them grind you down mate!!!!!! Your chat with Skell the other day on football matters was a masterpiece of lads caring so much about one of the things that makes life so special------ your team. 2 lads from the same part of the world being upset by words that matter to yourselves. Used to think some of you were too brash and simply didn't care or worse. Your prescence on here is very much needed, as it is on Condado. Ignore the whingers bonnie lad x

Hello and good evening

Ive only recently contributed to this forum to try and damper some of the negative coments, all I can say ive been an owner since Nov 08 and been out to the resort some 6 or so times since then, I never was miss sold the concept, I was just told what the end result was hoped to be. To date Iam pleased with the appartment, the course and ive played it, the Al Kassar bars, restaurants etc. And when ive been out there ive met some good people. Obviously there aint many fantastic things to report back on, taking into account PW state of play. Yet there is still active things going on at CDA, and I bought into that dream and I think and hope it will still continue. If you have negative coments be constructive with them and not emotional.

    Good to have some positives i too am very happy with my apartment it looks great know it is kitted out we have been out about 8 times and yes we would like a few more bars ect and shops but i believe this will come eventually.

I do feel they over promised but who would have predicted this resession nobody, it is always clean and tidy the gardens look good and there was a great feeling this summer when i was over.

Ant & Andi, I think for most of us the glass is half full. What we have is a great resort with a world class golf course and some pretty good facilities. This was after all achieved during a credit crunch where PW`s sales income plummeted to near zero. So, yes we should be positive. Howay man, what yer deein' ? You can't leave it all down to me to keep stirrin' up controversy !! Now I know there are a few negatives posted from time to time (some justified & some a little misguided) but that is still no reason to cave in like a red & white back line in the heart of the capital ! Pull yer socks up, dust yourself down, and get back to punching your weight. Looking forward to resuming the banter.

Does anyone know if a President has been elected for the Penthouses - we're in block 14?

All very confusing for a non-resident / owner / first time buyer in Spain............ Just want to come to our apartment, enjoy it, soak up the sun, relax, eat, drink, play golf, take in the surrounding areas and forget the stress back home!

If you haven't already found it you might want to log on to www.condadodealhamaservices.com   Its run by two Naranjos residents and is always a bit more postitive than eye on spain but doesn't duck issues either.

As well as the forum and chat there's photos (recently of El Pozo on fire! and taking the electricity poles down in Narnjos 1 and 2), videos about the site and area and a weekly podcast.  I use it to keep the dream alive when I'm sitting in rainy Scotland.  There is also information about RPM and the presidents.  Lizzie there aren't any for the Penthouses at the moment but more info on the forum as well.  The forum ican be found here - http://condadodealhamaservices.com/forum/
