Hi,

I have been told by a satellite installer that if I want to use the 2 cable connection in my Sky + box I have to have permission from the community.  He said that he is unable to install the second cable as it is a matter for the Community and he cannot touch the junction box where the cables are routed from. If you only have the one connection you can't watch one channel and record another.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me please?

Hi

That sounds right to me, to use the features of sky + i think you would need a second feed from the dish.
